The gay pride parade happened to be perfectly located to prevent me from getting to the subway stop I needed to get to the showing, so thankfully Katy figured out a different way for me to go so that I could transfer to the right train. I was really stressing out because I had to walk quite a few blocks to get to the other stop and I didn't want to be late. I power walked like my life depended on it and almost pushed about ten people out of my way. I have always hated slow walkers and being in the city has increased my hatred, but today it was on a whole other level. Thankfully, I got to the theater just in time and the movie didn't even start right at six anyway. The theater was very full of mostly eight-year-olds, but I was okay with it because the little girl sitting next to me was so cute gasping when something went wrong in the movie. It was a pretty cheesy and predictable movie, but it was fun going to another part of the city I have not been (Lincoln Center).
I had Chipotle for dinner, and the price has increased 50 cents just so you are aware. And I continued to watch "Friday Night Lights," which has fast become one of my favorite shows (behind The OC, Dexter, Lost, Lizzie McGuire, Friends... okay so I watch a little too much TV and have a lot of favorite shows). It is just so good, everyone needs to start watching it right now. Tomorrow I am going to the press conference for the movie before I go into work, and the countdown has begun for the Fourth of July weekend at the Cape! It's just started thundering so I am going to snuggle in bed, have a good week, everybody!
