Lazy Sunday

I woke up to a text from Katy asking if I wanted to go to breakfast with she and her dad who was visiting this weekend from Baltimore, and of course I jumped at the chance to spend some time with Scott Sherman, fellow beer pong player extraordinaire. We went to this cute little place called tbsp (like tablespoon), and Katy and I each got the french toast covered in fresh fruit and homemade whip cream. All I can say is nom nom nom. After that I changed and set out for the gym. It took me a little while to find the ellipticals because it was a a pretty little room within a very large building. After my work out I went back home, showered and decided to watch an episode of "The Tudors," but Netflix failed me. All of the episodes in the second half of the second season are either out of order and titled wrong or duplicates. Needless to say I filed multiple complaints and I hope they sort that out asap. I reverted back to my queue and decided to watch "Risky Business." A half hour into the movie I got hungry for lunch and went to Starbucks for an over-priced veggie panini and Naked juice. While I was there I decided to finish my book, which was so good and I was very happy I finally got the chance to finish it. Now I have to decide what book to start next. I have "Sarah's Key," "Bel Canto" and "Song of Solomon" to choose from, but I am leaning toward "Bel Canto" because I have been wanting to read it for a very long time. I walked around broadway, just peeking in stores and people watching, before I went back to the dorm for some more "Risky Business." I met up with Katy later for dinner and then we watched the Tony's at her apartment. Now I really want to go to a show, and there are so many great ones on and off broadway right now. I think I might do rush tickets for "The Lion King" on Tuesday because I feel like the only person who hasn't seen it and I know it will be amazing. I'm going to bed early tonight because I think I am covering a gala at the Apollo theater in Harlem tomorrow night and want to be sharp for my interviews. See I am capable of short posts.
